About

The kind of place you don’t forget

Pimushe Resort has long been a refuge for families and outdoor enthusiasts to reconnect with each other and nature. With the doors first opening in 1946, these shores, trees and even a couple of the smaller cabins have seen decades of families and friends making memories here. With all the offerings that a classic fishing resort is known for and the care of a small family business, we look forward to hosting you and providing the high-quality vacation destination you deserve.

We come to you with a deep belief that heading into nature is the best way to recharge and reconnect. While Pimushe Resort offers modern amenities and plenty of recreational fun at our beach and playground area, we also offer a slower pace of life. Jump back into the days when kids make resort friends, ran around playing yard games and came back to the cabin tired and hungry. Pimushe Resort is set deep into the woods, off the beaten path. With starry skies and fishy waters, this is the perfect place to change your pace.

Our spring season is full of returning birds, flowers and leaves, hot fishing and quiet nights. Summer brings on children’s laughter, waterpark fun, ice cream socials, lazy lake days, day trips, annual traditions, more great fishing and plenty of starry night bonfires. By the time Labor Day hits nature starts to show us the beauty of letting go. The colors change, the bonfires stay and the guests switch over to fall friend/family groups looking for fishing, hunting, fall foliage, various group retreats and the quiet stillness Chippewa’s National Forest offers.

With a strong focus on customer experience and satisfaction, our goal is to provide you with the quality vacation you deserve. Come find out why our repeat guests love it here so much!
