Not only is our beach and swimming area one of the best resort beaches around, it’s one of the best outdoor water parks in Northern Minnesota. Fun, sun, and fresh air, what more do you want from a water park?

This winter we again applied for and got our permit to bring in more washed sand for our beach and our swimming area. As you can imagine Minnesota lake swimming is just that much nicer when the lake bottom is clean, soft, and sandy under the toes of you and your loved ones.

Ed took special care to deliver and spread the sand in a clean and environmentally friendly way, and we’ve enjoyed watching over the last few weeks as the ice melts and the sand gently settles throughout our swim area. As the temps rise so does the temptation to jump in!
Don’t worry Minnesota Walleye Fishing Opener anglers! We won’t have our water toys installed until after the spring fishing season. June families will be happy though; when they arrive they’ll have over one dozen different commercial-grade water toys ready for them, including our monstrous water mat for the little ones, the big water launcher (think slingshot for people), water slides, trampolines, and lots of rideable toys for kids of all sizes.
